Doctor Maybe

I cannot see very well so I decided to change the font size to Largest!! Woohoo,I can see it now.
I am not a big fan of doctors. Maybe it has something to do with the fact we really didn't go to the doctor unless we were really sick... as in 7-10 days sick, or maybe it has something to do with the, how shall I say it- interesting, doctors I have seen thus far. It really doesn't matter the reason I suppose, the point is I needed to find a primary care doctor. I've got issues if you couldn't tell and I have kids and know I need to be taken care of so my kids can be taken care of, plus there is the insurance company. So whatever... the hunt began. I talked to my Sleep Doctor and he suggested I find an internist.
Do you know how hard it is to find a freaking internist!>?!?!@#$#%!!#@$%@$#
I couldn't find one so I decided to go with a general practitioner. I figured I would just talk to the doctor and figure out if I thought he or she was competent and capable of putting the effort in. So terrible right!?!?! Well I went to the doctor yesterday. Poor guy, Ha! It was difficult to get a read of him on what he was thinking.... Here is how it went:
I showed up the appropriate ten to fifteen minutes early with my trapper keeper binder of medical information. I go back with C to be weighed and have my blood pressure checked. We get back to the room and she asks what are you here for today? I tried to keep in a laugh because how on earth could I explain what I was there for. We got through the formalities and she asks if it was alright for a student to come in and observe. "Sure! Maybe he will learn a thing or two!" Shortly Dr. J came in with student P- it was great actually most places make you wait a ridiculous amount of time to be seen. Pleasantries over, we began the real conversation. I voiced my concern and issue with doctors in the past and explained having narcolepsy. I told him I had information on narcolepsy if he needed it and gave him a packet on it from the Mayo Clinic. He looked it over a minute then handed it to the student. We proceeded to chat, he looked me over, then got on the computer. Naturally I decided to chat with Student P. Apparently he knew someone with Narcolepsy and that person also had cataplexy. Unfortunately, ignorant people would purposefully scare the person to cause them to fall over. (its just so sad that people don't know how to be polite or respectful) All in all the conversation was nice with Student P. Doctor J decided he would take me on as a client. So keep your fingers crossed for me!
