I told my doctor at some point in the end of last year that I was having more troubles with my cataplexy. He of course, prescribed me the cataplexy drug Xyrem. This stuff is no joke and I hate it. I hate how it makes me feel. Hate that it doesn't seem to work correctly and just didn't want to take it.
So I stopped, I am still in the same boat as before with my cataplexy but this drug is awful. The choices of drugs for a narcoleptic seem so bleak and I can't help but wonder if there is some other alternative someone is just holding out on....
