Good Morning to myself. I am very frustrated. I went to the doctor more than a month ago and discussed my concerns with my current medication not really doing what it is supposed. The doctor saw fit that my medicine be almost completely changed. He added an anti depressant which is supposed to be am REM suppressor.... I still dream.... A LOT! As for the rest of the medicine he wrote the Rx but I had to wait until the drugs I was already on were to the end...... Stupid laws about controlled substances....So I go to the pharmacy and guess what no meds for me..... the insurance company requires a prior authorization. I know doctors and nurses are busy and the insurance companies would rather take our money than actually pay for something but my goodness. We are talking about my life here.... my ability to stay awake.... to be able to care for my children.... Plus now I am finding out that the Rx can only be filled within a 10 day window of when it was dated.... which means they can't fill it after today.... so no meds for me..... Sorry but I won't even have been taking it for a week by the time I go ack to the doctors office to "see how it's going."
